IT'S A HARD KNOCK LIFE (sometimes)

I’ve always been a firm believer of not letting what people do to you change who you are. But how long can they chip away at all your goodness till you break? How many chances are you supposed to give mankind until you can’t do it anymore? I’m learning that you must allow yourself to be angry and hurt then slap your self in the face and get it together and continue to see the good in people. There is a line in a Luther Vandross song that says ‘let’s fix these hearts, so they can be broken again’ and it made me realize that’s the way life goes. May heartbreak make you stronger and not cause you to harden your heart, may you continue to believe that great people exist they just come with flaws. Aren't we all? And regardless of everything there is no one worth you losing your true self over, hold on to who God has made you to be.

THE STRAIGHT LEG JEAN

If you have been reading my blog you would by now know that I'm obsessed with jeans. I was hesitant to buy the straight leg jeans because i had the orson but boy was i foolish. These jeans are my new favourite Topshop cut. I paired them with this white t-shirt also from Topshop, shoes are from Call it Spring, belt is from Zara and clutch is from Winners. Tied the whole look with a red lip.
