........

Today i remebered when i was in secondary school and our english teacher would talk about people who have degrees and are sitting at home not getting jobs. At the time i couldn't relate i was sure that it would never be my portion, i thought it was something that happened to other people. Now here i am 27 years old, educated and still struggling to find a job. This is not some pity party post its just me reflecting on how you never know what the future holds anything can happen to anyone, I'm sure that this is a test of my patience and hard as it is I still have faith in God's time. I'm not saying its easy to just be patient it has been the hardest thing i have ever done and sometimes people think you're just sitting on your butt not making an effort little do they know that you don't sleep you live and breathe editing resumes, searching and applying for jobs.
Whatever trial you're going through, practice a little kindness towards yourself you're worth so much more than your current situation. God defines us and situations don't, with every test there will be a testimony and Lord knows i can't wait to testify.

PS: This is a picture of me a little bit over a month ago i was going to my friend Khandie's birthday dinner and I'm obsessed with classic basic pieces obviously. Anyway the point of this picture is this amazing boyfriend button-up shirt by Gap that i got from the thrift store for less than $10 (score)

Kimono Love

Hey y'all, so I finally found the perfect kimono that's great quality and very affordable. I have been obsessing over kimonos for a while now they make a simple outfit look chic and high end. I'm so exited to wear it all summer and maybe a little bit in fall too.
By the way i got this Kimono on sale original price was $69.90 and I got it for $39.90 (score) lol. XO

Classic: Blue jeans and a white tee

Hey y'all, i can't believe I've been gone for so long but I'm back so yay. I have a fashion post to break this  cold hard 5month ice with. If you know me or have been through my blog you know i love a simple and chic outfit. I paired these dark wash jeans with this plain white t-shirt (which was a steal for $9.90) and chucks. Listen i have been living in these chucks for the past 5months and i don't intend on stopping because they are so darn comfortable. I'm planning on getting black ones because the ones i had are really old. By the way if you're interested my lipstick is called "OH LADY" and its from Mac.

I'm hoping to post once every 2weeks.
