Shoe crush

Hey y'all, i made this collage of the shoes I'm loving lately and are definitely on my wish list. To be honest I'm not one of those girls who are shoe obsessed and have tons and tons of shoes I'm more of a clothes person, but once in a while i do spot shoes that just capture my heart. I have realized that I gravitate towards Zara shoes and who can blame me they make gorgeous and comfortable shoes they are not the cheapest but they are worth the investment.

 1. Thigh high boots are so pretty i would wear them with a short t-shirt dress or shirt dress and shorts, leggings i mean id live in them so they would be in every outfit i have on

 2. These red high heel court shoes are so cute i love the cutout on them and i have tried them on LOVE

 3.Fringe sandals are so cute i first saw these on Tia Mowry's instagram and i was whipped

 4. I usually don't wear pointy flats because i feel like they don't flatter my foot but i like these ones from Zara they are also very affordable

 5. I mean listen when i saw these it was love at first sight they remind me of the Stella McCartney ones which i clearly can't afford, but i love the platform flats trend they are not my typical style but they are too cute not to love.

 6.These black heeled sandals are so beautiful they are a little more high-heeled than I'm used to but i love the platform effect they have and i think they would look amazing with a nice short A-line pleated skirt and a bodysuit or something.

The T-Shirt Dress

Happy Friday, I have been on a hunt for a "perfect" tshirt dress for almost a year now and I finally found one I love and is affordable.. It's still a little cold here so I'm lookin forward to summer so I can't  wear it often and style it how I really want to. I could get away with it if I had thigh high boots I've been eying these ones from Aldo but they are so expensive I have to think long and hard, pray, meditate and all that stuff, I don't just buy expensive things it's a process they have to be so worth it enough for me to save for them. Anyway I paired the dress with a blazer I wore on this post and these Zara booties, I'm wearing my Daniel Wellington watch I got myself for my birthday and this little clutch I got on clearance for $4 at Winners.

Do you ever wonder why we are sometimes consumed by being validated by people in our "social circles" not just social media but even in our day to day lives? I used to be a victim of this when I was younger. The thing is we forget that it is imperative that we get fulfilment from within ourselves we need to do the things that bring us not only peace but sleep at night, although relationships with other people are essential we have to remember that the relationship that matters the most is the one you have with God and yourself. So next time you want to do something and it feels good to you do it who cares about what people say it's your life after all so live it.. Happy Saturday y'all... XO 

Casual chic

Hey y'all, wanted to share this outfit that I find to be very casual and very chic. My style is simple yet chic atleast to me it is.. 

My jacket is from Reitmans I got it on sale for $16 last year(similar) and my tshirt is from h&m it's so flowie and relaxed which I love (similar). Jeans are topshop and my shoes I got last summer from Zara they have similar ones in their new spring/summer collection, my bag is also Zara( similar) 

Side note: I have on this cool deep purple matte liquid lipstick from colourpop cosmetics and it's called Zipper.
