Happy Friday y'all, so I ordered a bomber jacket from Zara and it just came in yesterday. I have always wanted a bomber jacket but the ones from Topshop are so expensive so when I saw this one from Zara for the fraction of the price I had to have it. Funny story this bomber just came in the online store begging of the week and it's sold out already so I can't give the link to it. There is a similar one here it's a little more expensive than the one I got and they carry this one only in khaki. Without further ado here it is

PS i wore this outfit casually with my trainers and i just switched my shoes for a more "dressy" look. Also i only took these pictures for the blog i cannot go out with such a light jacket its freezing here in Toronto so i'd be a block of ice if I tried to go anywhere like this. I look forward to be wearing it more during the spring. XO

Closing another chapter in my life and I am so grateful to God for all the bitter sweet moments 25 has brought. The blessing have made me a true believer of how amazing God really is and the loses have taught me to be stronger and be a much better woman. Cheers to 26, I look forward to many more amazing memories

Ps today is officially my 26th birthday

This is a birthday ootd (outfit of the day).I'm wearing this gorgeous jean and it's my current favourite jean its high waist and it grazes the ankle and fits perfectly, it's a Jamie Jean from Topshop and my blazer (its sold out and i couldn't find an alternative to link) is from Zara as well as my handbag. These shoes are cute i got them from Aldo they remind me of the Christian Louboutin pigalles but way cheaper, and my top which is actually a bodysuit is from Asos.

Finding purpose!!

With my 26th birthday just around the corner I have been thinking about how people say find your purpose. This is something I am chasing and praying hard that I get to that place where I am fulfilled and living my purpose. 

How exactly do you find it? Where do I start? I don't have the answers to these questions and it gets so exhausting sometimes feeling like you are just existing or doing what would be considered "the norm". I believe that God instilled in all of us so much more and settling for a mediocrity of life is what I cannot do. I might not know what my purpose right now but I sure as hell intend on taking leaps of faith until I find it. 

I need to constantly remind myself that it's ok to take risks and to fall and pick myself right back up. I strongly believe that through our failures we learn and become better people. So cheers to finding our purpose *xo 

Side note: I can't believe I'm turning 26 I feel like I was just 21 and time just flew by 

Favourite high end and drugstore mascaras

I love reading reviews and watching YouTube videos on people's current favourites so I thought I might do my own.

Now I'm no makeup pro but I do love to experiment and my favourite thing to buy would have to be mascaras, I have a couple of them but today il be talking about my two faves. One is a bit more pricey and the other one is super affordable. 

1. High-end 

I love the Benefit they're real mascara, it's amazing it elongates my lashes you'd think I hav falsies on its also waterproof which is also a plus.
The only con which doesn't bother me but might bother some people would be that because its waterproof it is a little hard to wash off but if you have good make up wipes or a make-up remover it shouldn't be too much of a hustle.

It's retails for CAN$31 at Sephora without tax

There is a value set for this mascara right now at Sephora which retails less than the individual mascara 

2. Drugstore 

The covergirl full lash bloom is amazing because it spreads out my lashes makes them more fuller I love it, it doesn't give much length but it will leave your lashes gorgeous still.
So far there are no cons with this mascara

*tip, I love to use both mascaras sometimes when I need a more dramatic look, I use the covergirl one first then top of with the benefit to elongate 

I have not experienced any fall outs with these mascaras have so that's a bonus 

Happy New Year

I am so excited to be blogging again and it's not only because of the new year but also because I gave my little blog a face lift. I am so excited for this year as well because it is such a blessing not everyone was able to make it to 2016.

So today I want to talk about the future of my blog I want it to be more of a lifestyle blog and I really want to be able to blog atleast once a week. 

 I'm also looking into investing in a good dslr camera that is affordable because I want to take more pictures and share my life in the blog. 

I really do look forward to blogging more I have so many ideas and can't wait to share them.
